DASELL Cabin Interior develops, designs, produces and overhauls high-quality cabin interior components for commercial airliners. DASELL makes worldwide deliveries of cabin interior components for renowned airlines, and is an engineering, production and maintenance partner for aircraft manufacturers and airlines.

DASELL's core competence is the 'wet' area, including aircraft lavatories, shower cabins, washrooms and bathrooms. DASELL is the largest manufacturer of aircraft lavatories in the world, and delivers, amongst others, the lavatories for all Airbus aircraft programs (the A320 family, A330, A340, A380 and A400M). More than 300 employees produce almost 2,000 sanitary units annually.

The product portfolio is complemented by stowages, washrooms, doghouses, partitions and windscreens. DASELL components are also available in VIP versions for business and corporate jets. All products meet the highest standards of quality and safety, and are of lightweight construction, making optimal use of available space.

LAVATORIES FOR LONG RANGE AIRCRAFT

DASELL has developed a special lavatory design for the new generation of long range aircraft. The aim was to create an exciting first-class interior to meet the demands of higher standards. Fine materials, new surface appearance, special focus on illumination and noise reduction makes this a first class lavatory appropriate for long range aircraft.

AIRCRAFT LAVATORY / URINAL / FRESHENING UP AREA

The lavatory / urinal / freshening up area is a combination of an enlarged lavatory, a urinal and a washroom. Lavatories are used multiple times on long-distance flights. It is designed to meet the diverse needs of passengers with a 'room for three' concept. This interior design allows airlines to give passengers more room for what they expect in terms of cleanliness, well-being and service.

AIRCRAFT SHOWER CABIN

The DASELL aircraft shower cabin is designed for highest quality and hygienic expectations. It can be delivered separately and integrated in a complete washroom adapted to customer requirements. Shower cabins are primarily used in larger business and corporate jets and aircraft with VIP furnishings.

AIRCRAFT FUTURE-TRENDS-LAVATORY

The DASELL Future-Trends-Lavatory is not yet an available lavatory, but it is an exposure with our latest features and ideas for the future aircraft interior equipment in the 'wet' area, first presented during the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2006 in Hamburg.

It is focused on the high expectations for cabin interior equipment with regard to quality, hygiene, comfort and atmosphere. New features are combined with new layout concepts.

High quality material, such as a ceramic-like wash table and leather coverings, underline the premium quality level of the Future-Trends-Lavatory.

The non-contact system for the flush button, water faucet and waste flap and antibacterial surfaces of the Future-Trends-Lavatory fulfil the highest hygiene standards.

A window brings daylight into the Future-Trends-Lavatory. Optimised light design and mood light functions create a nice atmosphere: warm and still hygienic. The passenger finds the same lighting conditions as in the complete aircraft cabin.

Several important details contribute to the comfort level of the Future-Trends-Lavatory. Illuminated signals guide the passenger through the lavatory's functions. A self-closing toilet lid reduces the flushing noise inside the lavatory, as well as for the passengers seated close by. A mirror-integrated monitor can be used for announcement functions, and can provide a large variety of information.
