Bucher Leichtbau AG Reselected by Singapore Aircraft Leasing to be Supplier of Galleys and Stowages

Bucher Leichtbau AG has been reselected by Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise (SALE) to be the baseline supplier of galleys and stowages for their forward order Airbus A320 family aircraft.
The selection was won against international competition based on Bucher's performance in a previous supply contract with SALE combining high delivery reliability with low weight, structural stability, low maintenance costs and an excellent price/performance ratio.
Bucher Leichtbau AG, based in Fällanden, Switzerland is a Preferred Supplier in the Airbus catalogue and holds an ISO-9001-2000 qualification as well as all required JAA and FAA certificates.
SALE is the world's leading Asia-based aircraft leasing company, with a current portfolio of 40 modern airliners and 22 customers in 16 countries across the world. The company has 32 more aircraft on firm order from Airbus and Boeing for delivery through 2008.
The contract was signed by both parties in June 2002.
