Bucher Leichtbau AG produces galleys, stowages, containers and video deployment systems for international airlines, as well as EMS systems for rescue helicopters and aircraft.

BUCHER GALLEYS

Bucher galleys are made of aluminium. The ingenious design eliminates every gram of unnecessary weight. The frame construction of all Bucher galleys guarantees a high degree of stability. Installation dimensions and inserts can be adapted to the individual requirements of the airlines.

HELICOPTER INTERIORS

Bucher Leichtbau AG are also specialists for helicopter interiors, especially in the area of airborne rescue services. Bucher has developed programmes for the Eurocopter family (BO-105, BK-117 and EC 135). We can also cater for special requests for VIP interiors and winches as required. Development of new systems is ongoing in this particularly interesting field.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (EMS) HELICOPTER INTERIOR

Substantial know-how of the unique requirements in aircraft manufacture prompted Bucher to move into the helicopter field. Interior systems for rescue helicopters and aircraft have been in production since the 1970s.

A standard EMS interior system contains:

• CNC-milled integral floor panel
• Crew seating equipment
• Stretcher including retainers
• Medical equipment panels
• Oxygen, suction and electrical supply systems

LAW ENFORCEMENT HELICOPTER INTERIORS

The Bucher Group also produces special equipment for police helicopters. A standard law enforcement interior contains:

• Stowage space

• Winch arrangements

The programme is being expanded further: a direction-finder rack which makes radio communications even simpler has just been added.

ARMREST VIDEOS/VIDEO DEPLOYMENT SYSTEMS

Bucher makes it easier to enjoy the video and entertainment system available on today's aircraft. Bucher video deployment systems ensure a comfortable position for playing games, surfing the internet or enjoying a movie. Seated or reclined, the monitor can be positioned for maximum comfort. When more space is needed, and for take-off and landing, the monitor folds away easily into the armrest.

PARTITIONS

Bucher partitions are ideal for dividing the cabin into single-purpose units (business/economy class, etc.).

NEW GENERATION STRETCHER SYSTEM

In close cooperation with SAS Components, the Bucher Group has developed a new system for the transport of sick and injured persons: the "New Generation Stretcher System".

It offers patients the highest possible degree of comfort, fulfils the latest safety regulations, is easily and quickly fitted and weighs only 38kg. When folded down, the system can be stowed into a very small space.
