Aerolite - Interior Aeromedical Systems for Patient TransportationFounded in 1995, Aerolite has developed into a leading aircraft and helicopter interior design, engineering and manufacturing company. Products include aircraft cabin equipment, cabin crew seating, crew bunks as well as optional equipment for rotary and fixed wing aircraft. In particular, Aerolite manufactures modular aeromedical systems that comprise of a series of emergency medical facilities such as stretchers, medical gas systems and specialized seating, all intended for intensive care patient transport. Aerolite is the leader of medical interior systems for the helicopter types Agusta Grand, AW139, EC135, EC145, Bell 429 and MD900/902. DESIGN AND ENGINEERING OF AVIATION EQUIPMENTAerolite's services in this field consist of design, engineering, stress analysis and static tests, documentation and certification of aviation and medical equipment and systems in compliance with JAR, FAR, ATA, CE, etc. AEROLITE EMS INTERIOR: MODULAR MEDICAL INTERIOR SYSTEM FOR AGUSTA GRAND, AW139, EC135, EC145, Bell 429 AND MD900/902 HELICOPTERSThe Aerolite Medical Interior System is designed and built around the lightest and thinnest 'layover' integral floor available. As it is CNC milled out of a one-piece aluminium alloy block, there are no panel joints and no leakage. The floor panel and the four integrated full-length seat tracks extend to the cockpit area to offer greater flexibility of mission configurations. An integrated drain-channel runs around the floor panel to collect and drain spills during flights. For cleaning and servicing purposes, the integral floor can be easily removed within minutes. At the right-hand side of the cabin a secondary stretcher, a stowage container or just a strap down webbing for loose equipment can be mounted to the seat tracks. AIR AMBULANCE TRANSPORTATION STRETCHERAerolite's unique and quickly removable aeromedical stretcher-platform provides comfort and safety for the patient and medical crew. It enables the crew to load/unload the patient through the rear or the forward left-hand side cabin access. The platform is located on guide rails and slides simply in and out of the cabin. Inside the cabin, the stretcher-platform can be moved and locked in several positions. If necessary, the stretcher can be replaced with a light transport incubator that is moored to the top of the platform. Other stretcher systems are available on request to suit any particular mission profile. AIRCRAFT MEDICAL CREW SEATSA rear facing medical crew seat is positioned behind the co-pilot seat. This seat can be quickly and easily removed when not in use. Alternatively, Aerolite offers a reversible co-pilot seat for single pilot operation. Both seats can only be removed and reinstalled whilst the aircraft is on the ground. A second medical crew seat, also equipped with quick release fittings, can be positioned behind the pilot seat. The medical crew seat slides along the seat tracks and can be rotated fully 360°. A third seat, the original right-hand forward facing passenger seat, must be removed when the second stretcher is in use. MEDICAL GAS SYSTEMBetween the 'back-to-back seats', up to three gas cylinders (oxygen or oxygen/air) can be carried in the cabin. For cylinder replacement, the medical crew seat is moved slightly rearwards for easy access. Each cylinder has its own reducing valve. The low-pressure gas system is connected to the internal distribution system. CHALLENGER CL604: MODULAR MEDICAL INTERIOR SYSTEM FOR FIXED WING AIRCRAFTAerolite's Challenger CL604 interior system has been designed for fixed wing aircraft. For this purpose, thousands of details have been taken into consideration, from the ramp to the galley, crew rest and the medical rack. An office is also included. The aircraft interior system enables a crew to be able to take on up to six patients or nine accompanying persons.
