The choice of interior fabric for an aircraft is an important yet often overlooked detail for any airline operator. CUSTOMISED AIRCRAFT INTERIOR TEXTILES

AaBe designs, develops and produces a wide range of customised aircraft interior textiles for application such as seat fabric, curtain material, ready made pleated curtains, carpets and aviation leather. AaBe also produces passenger trappings such as matching blankets and pillow cases.

SAFETY TESTED TEXTILES

All of AaBe’s textiles are designed conform to the most stringent of airworthiness specifications. As such, every product undergoes rigorous in-house laboratory testing before being released onto the market. These tests account for flammability, toxicity and smoke density. As such, all AaBe materials conform to the following industry standards:

• Flammability Test:
  As per specification FAR/CS 25.853, App. F, Part I/a/1/ii. the 12 second vertical burn test. FAR/CS 25.853, App. F, Part I/a/i. the 60 second vertical burn test.
• Smoke Density Test
  Airbus Directives ABD 0031 para 7.3.2 or Boeing - Specification Support BSS 7238
• Toxic Gas Emissions Test
  ABD 0031 para 7.4 or BSS 7238
• Flammability test for complete seats
  As per specification FAR / CS 25.853, App. F, Part ll (Combination Kerosene Oil Burner testing)
• Heat release rate
  As per specification, FAR/CS 25.853, App. F. Part IV / V
