Industry standard connectors

With over 50 years of experience manufacturing interconnect solutions Harwin are well placed to support industry standard connector requirements.

Connectors include:

• Cable to board connectors – available supplied with pre-crimped contacts. Harwin also provide a cable assembly service
• Board to board connectors – connector pitches starting at 0.8mm and including PC/104 and PC/104+, board sockets and pins.
• FPC - FPC connectors starting at 0.5mm pitch

Fast-mating connectors

Harwin's market-leading standard HotShoe connectors for fast mating have been used in the following applications:

• Bowman military radio system
• Harris Falcon II radio
• Exensor UMRA ground
• Racal radio systems
• Spanish future soldier programme

High reliability connectors

The Datamate range is ideal for applications where safety is critical, the application is subject to high loads of vibration, shock and acceleration or operates in harsh environments. The connectors are highly durable and can withstand high numbers of mating cycles without any degradation in performance.

The Datamate range of 2mm pitch, high reliability connectors is approved to meet the exacting standards of British Standard 9525-F0033. This conformity is made possible by Harwin’s high reliability four-finger beryllium copper contact. The contact features a four-finger clip to ensure integrity of connection under the most severe conditions.
