Since it was established in 1992, European Air Spares (EAS) has emerged as one of Scandinavia's foremost service specialist in the supply of large and medium-sized aircraft components. With over a decade of experience and expertise behind us, we have access to a global network of partners facilitating the swift acquisition and provision of a wide range of power units, brakes, lamps, wheels and other standard mechanical and avionics components, as well as consumables.
The reasons why EAS has emerged as a leader in this highly pecialised and competitive sector are no secret. From the outset, we have continuously pursued a policy of providing optimum service solutions customised to individual client demands and requirements representing true value for money. Although the company is only ten years old, the members of our corporate management team, consisting of Thomas Fröbom, Leif Hedberg and Lennart Peterson, have proven track records in the industry mustering more than 80 years of experience in the aviation world between them.
Our success has also brought about the creation of Priority Aero Maintenance: a sister company which since 1995 has specialised in the maintenance and service of passenger aircraft.
EAS maintains a sizeable stock of mechanical and avionics components at the headquarters in Norrköping, Sweden. In addition to the provision of new general components including wheels and brakes, our in-house component repair workshop can renovate and restore used parts to as good as new condition. With a proven reputation for quality workmanship, EAS offers cost-effective service solutions while maintaining the highest quality standards. We maintain stocks of the most common rotables and consumables for the following aircraft types: Boeing 737, Boeing 747, McDonnell Douglas DC-9/MD80 series, Lockheed L1011, and SAAB 340.
European Air Spares’ sister enterprise, Priority Aero Maintenance, operates technical maintenance facilities at Stockholm-Arlanda and Söderhamn. These provide 24-hour maintenance support to large and medium-sized jet and turboprop passenger aircraft. An in-house engine shop also has repair capabilities for major manufacturers.
The company holds JAR 145 repair station approval (Swedish CAA No. LFV S-021), meaning quality and reliability in terms of service, engineering expertise, and application know-how conforming to the highest international standards. Our extensive range of aircraft overhaul service programme includes heavy maintenance (up to D checks), avionics installation and overhaul of wheels, brakes and batteries.
In addition to maintenance, Priority Aero Maintenance performs refits, modifications and add-ons to existing aircraft equipment, as well as aircraft transfer, storage and dismantling.
Maintenance services are provided for the following aircraft types: Boeing 737, Boeing 747, McDonnell Douglas DC-9/MD80 series, Lockheed L1011, and SAAB 340.
By virtue of its extensive in-depth knowledge of the aviation sector, EAS is in a position to offer a broad range of consultation services for aircraft operators, owners, leasing companies, etc. These cover a broad range of both maintenance and technical disciplines in both advisory and consultative capacities, including:
