ADG Releases New High Speed Print Publishing Solution for Defence and Aerospace

03 February 2010

Aerospace and Defence Information specialists Absolute Data Group (ADG) have released the latest version of their ASD S1000D print publishing software, R4i Binder workstation, along with the new R4i Binder desktop.

This new release builds on R4i's core strength, the ability to deliver media rich interactive electronic technical manuals, along with print ready publications for the defence, aerospace and heavy industries.

Companies using ADG's R4i common source database can leverage R4i Binder's advanced print publication generation capabilities and options, including:

  • A revised interface allowing fast access to PDF books and authorised versions
  • A new library feature, allowing users to pre-configure book structures prior to printing
  • Enhanced book history, including released versions and associated change packages
  • Automatic generation of table of contents, index and list of effected pages
  • View & Review capability enabling operators to produce books and change packages for review prior to the formal release of the print publications

R4i Binder is part of the R4i CSDB server suite, which includes free IETP viewers, a SCORM compliant e-learning system and integrated logistics support software. Designed specifically for operators and maintainers who need reliable access to technical and operational information both electronically and in print, R4i Binder ensures the same authorised information delivered in the interactive electronic technical publication is also delivered in print.

A supplier of software, training and services for more than 12 years, ADG understands the complex and secure environments employed by their customers. "he new R4i Binder desktop license will give customers the ability to have anyone creating books and change packages for review," says ADG's CEO Tammy Halter.

ADG's new R4i Binder workstation and R4i Binder desktop Licenses will start shipping to customers by 08 February 2010. To upgrade you current software, please contact our support team.
