Barden precision aerospace bearings

Custom designed and manufactured aerospace bearings are a cornerstone of the Barden product line. Aerospace bearings are specifically designed according to application requirements, and our engineering staff is often involved early in the development stages of aerospace equipment.

Barden bearings are utilised in pneumatic and electric starters and generators, gearboxes, main engines, and a variety of auxiliary aircraft positions including gyros. Bearing configurations range from standard deep groove bearings to intricate split inner ring designs.

Kamatics manufactures high-performance mechanical products used in aviation, these products are primarily self-lubricated bearings for aircraft flight controls, turbine engines, and landing gear, and KAflex® driveline couplings for helicopters.

KAron® and KAtherm® systems are qualified to demanding military specifications (SAE AS81820, SAE AS81934, MIL-B-8943 and SAE AS81819). KAron® and KAtherm® are homogeneous self-lubricating liner systems incorporating PTFE particles in polyester thermosetting resin-based materials, which can be tailored to meet specific performance requirements.

The KAflex® driveshaft is a mechanical drive coupling which requires no lubrication or seals, and transmits power while accommodating high angular misalignment and length change through the use of flexible rectangular frames.
